This course is designed for managers and supervisors whose role involves both preventing negative stress and supporting staff it if it does occur. The course shows you how to define and identify the causes and symptoms of negative stress. It also considers a range of approaches and techniques that can be used to prevent stress, and create a culture that is supportive of those experiencing stress rather than inadvertently exacerbating the problem. Finally it considers how managers and supervisors can develop stress management strategies that are both useful for individuals within the workplace and relevant across teams and organisations.
